It`s been so long since I last wrote something on my blog. But I really want to start again.
Iv`e been thinking about starting to blog more about life in general, the things in life that I love (not the people in my life though). Fashion, my dog, makeup, interior and good food.

It feels like yesterday that I got my little French Bulldog puppy. But one year has passed, and he`s not so little anymore.
Iv`e never had a dog before, and I didn`t know how much work it was. It`s just like having a little baby.

I`ll write more in the upcoming week.

The designer with the sickest style, and the most impressive shoes is gone. The fashion industy has lost a big star, and the runway will never be the same.

Sleep now McQueen. The fashionistas will miss you.

Primer Test

Well Happy New Year everyone! :)

I have tested some primers since the (crappy) e.l.f one, and here`s the review.

First and foremost: How to test a primer in the store! Most of us have two hands, and each hand is diffirent from the other. One of your hand will most likely have deeper lines than the other. This is how you test the product : Take a small amount of the primer on your finger (don`t dip you finger in the jar though) and dab it on to the hand with the deepest lines, after a very small amount of time you should be able to see a big diffirence in the hand. Now compare both hands and see that the deep lines are much more alike the other hand :)

Lisse Minute Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch Makeup Base by Clarins (phew, that`s a long name!) : It went on smoothly, leaving my skin feeling very soft and even. It keeps the skin matte, and it helped to keep those dry patches away. For removing fine lines it`s also pretty good. This gets 7/10.

Now my favorite of all times! The Urban Decay Complexion Primer Potion - Pore Perfecting. This is just amazing! You need very little to cover your face. The complexion feels silky smooth afterwards, and it evens out the skintone a lot better than the Clarins one. Well as you can see it`s a pore perfector, and I don`t suffer from large pores, but my boyfriend does. I forced him to test it, and his pores ot visiby smaller. As for the price $30 for 30 ml. This gets 10/10 from me :)

E.L.F Eyes lips face review

Well as I told you before I ordered 48 products from e.l.f, and now I have tested a lot of them.

First and foremost, the three brushes I bought were totally crap. The first thing I did was to wash them, they smelled really bad. When I washed them the water turned red.

Total Face Brush looses a lot of hair all the time, and the "hair" poke my skin, it does not feel nice at all. This gets a 1/10.

The Bronzing Brush is okay, but cannot be compared to the wonderful contour brush from M.A.C. Again, the smell is really bad. This brush will get a 3/10

The Defining Eye Brush is the best out of the three I have tested. It wasn`t red, and didn`t smell all that bad. For my taste the bristles are to long to be a defining brush, but to blend the outer V of the eye it`s good. This one get`s a 4 /10

I have also tested the e.l.f mineral infused face primer for about a week now. This does not work for me at all. I have dry skin, and this makes my face look amazing straight away, but after a couple of hours dry patches start to appear on my skin (primer is made to prep the skin and to make the makeup stay on flawlessly on your skin longer) It contains Silicone, Phenoxyethanol wich is restricted in Japan because of it`s sideeffects and 3 other Parabens. For people with sensitive skin/ problem skin, stay away from this product! Very funny to put in the word Mineral to make it sound better. This product gets 3/10

Other than that I must say that the Duo Eyeshadows get a 7/10. They are not to powdery so they are easy to apply. Always test the product on your hand before applying it on your eyelid, just to check the pigmentation. Some of the colors have a lot of pigments and other look totally different on your eye than in the package. If you prime your eye and apply a good baseshadow the e.l.f eyeshadows will last for a really long time.

My best advise is to buy the crazy colors that you almost never use on e.l.f but always invest in a good base color and the colors you use every day. Most of the e.l.f products contains a lot of mineral Oil wich clog your pores and can lead to acne.

Nora testing beauty products

It`s almost christmas and I have been doing a lot of my christmas shopping online.

I went totaly nuts on e.l.f`s webpage and ordered 48 diffirent products, yikes! And I haven`t tried anything yet, hehe! When I get the package I will test each product and post it in my blog.

I have also ordered hairproducts from Burt`s bees, and will test them as well.

Yesterday I bought this giftbox from Declèor - Secret D`Hydratation.

I have sworn to REN products, but wanted a change, and I have only heard positive things about Decleor. I have always struggeled with dry patches in my face. When I removed my makeup, I applied 3 drops of aromessence Neroli serum (and let it dry for about 5 minutes) then applied the Hydra floral anti-pollution cream. Woke up this morning and my skin felt amazing!
So if you suffer from dry skin I totally recomend this kit!

I give this a 10/10

Haha, isn`t the headline lame?

Today there was a lot of sun, just like yesterday. I started my day on my blacony eating breakfast and reading in my book- Grotesque by Natsuo Kirino. Then my boyfriend and I went out to some friends and chilled out in the sun. And I mangaged to get a pointy stick in my sandal. I didn`t notice it until now that about 2 cm of this stick was stuck between my big toe and my index toe. I had to take a tweezer and drag it out......Gosh that hurt!

I have finally fufilled my dream of having my very own Chanel 2.55. After a lot of searching on ebay and finn ( a Norwegian auction site) I found something I did not belive. A chanel 2.55 bought in the Chanel boutique in february. I got the bag in my hands now and I`m so happy! And the best part is the fact that it`s 100% authentic! If you ever wish to buy a chanel bag online be very carefull, there`s so much fake!

Iv`e been gone for sooooo long now, and I can`t wait to get back to blogging! The reason Iv`e been gone is because I`ve moved out, and the apartment has no internet. Luckly a man is coming on Thursday to install it.

Boring.... Seriously I find easter quite boring... Everything is closed, and I`m really not the girl who travels to the cabin on the mountain to go skiing....

Well as a makeup artist Iv`e used many different mascaras and many of them very expensive. But my personal favorite is Define-A-Lash by Maybelline. It makes my eyelashes seriously long, it does not smudge and it`s cheap. It` s perfect for everyday use. BUT it does not give much volume if you do not have thick eyelashes.

I use it every single day!

Yesterday morning my boyfriend and I went out to eat breakfast, we went to a restaurant named NB Sørensen. We ordered an egg and bacon sandwich. I got mine and seriously I had to deliver it back. It was so salty, I could scrape of the salt with my knife and it got all white from salt. The chef got all bitchy but at least I got a new sandwich..

Later I celebrated my 20th birthday with my family, we were about 30 people. Eating good food and loads of cake. And then it was time to turn of the lights because of Earth Hour, did any of you turn of the lights??

I got a lot of money for my birthday, and I`m planning on saving most of them. BUT I just had to buy me some goodies from forever 21... Most of it Iv`e already posted several times before on my blog. This is what I have ordered:
This pair of jeans would look awesome with the shoes. And Iv`e never had a pair of jeans with this color. I have a lot of black, blue and gray but non like this.
This tunic that Iv`e posted before as well I just love the pattern. I just know it will look smashing with a pair of high boots like the ones below and a nice bag.

And Iv`e finally ordered the "fashionbloggershoe". I feel like every single fashion blogger has blogged about these shoes. But why shouldn`t they? The shoes look fantastic!

I`m moving this weekend so I would like to post some photos of my beloved closet... We really had some great moments together. R.I.P closet!
- This is my closet :) I really love it, even though it`s really messy!

This is the tallest part of my closet, this is where I keep my shoes, some clothes, bags, scarfs and belts.

This is the smallest closet, but it`s still quite big because it`s all shelves. Here I keep my tees, pants, sweaters, and in the bottom some shoes again :P

Ahhh, finally Friday! Today my mom picked me up after work, and we went to Ikea to shop stuff for the apartment. 4 whole Ikea bags with towels, spoons, knifes and so much more! I love my mom so much!

And I haven`t seen my boyfriend in a week now, so I`m really looking forward to seeing him again tonight :)

Weekends rule!

I`m such a sucker for weekends, but who isn`t?

On Friday to good friends of mine and me ate pizza, watched a movie and talked so much! One of my friends, Marie had just been to Japan and had a lot to say! Everyone was so polite, short and skinny. Everything was so filled with hi tech stuff, even the toilets. She really said that Japan was cool! Japan was and still is the place I most want to visit, Japan over a sandy white beach any day!

Saturday my boyfriend became 23 years :) I had bought him a t-shirt from cheap monday and a pair of shoes :) And on this day our parents met for the first time, I couldn`t eat that day, I was so nervous... But they went along with each other so that was good :)
Later that evening we met up with one of my bestfriends, Thea and her boyfriend. We went out to eat and we watched a movie as well. And as nervous I had been earlier that day I typically fell a sleep during the movie......

And today one of my cousins became 14 years old. So many of my relatives were there, talking so loud, eating loads of good food and drinking good wine ( not the 14 year old of course..)

Here is what I wore at the birthday:

Well yesterday it was one of my bestfriends birthday, she became 20 years old! :) Woohoo :) So me and my boyfriend went to eat some cake with her, and as a present I gave her the Norwegian book -The fashion bible. She got happy.

Today it was so cold outside! And the wind was so strong( guess you saw that on the second picture)

Anyways my outfit for the day was simple and I wore one of my favorite scarfs, Gunhild from Bik bok. The only bad thing about that scarf is the fact that it`s made of 100% acrylic, I really don`t like that fabric...
Other than the scarf I wore: Parka from Vero Moda, Slouchy see- through tee from bikbok, Acidwashed jeans from Never denim/ bikbok, shoes from din sko and my usual leatherbag from Adax.

Well iv`e written about Mariacarla Boscono before, and how much I love her style and talent. And in Milan`s fashionweek she`s walking for Etro, where she wore the most beautiful outfit EVER! Min favoritt trend for makeup vår 2009

Denne våren er min favoritt trend innen makeup myke smoky eyes. Istedenfor å bruke de karakteristiske gråtonene finner vi fram brune, gyldne toner og lager en myk variant istedet. Dette er en stil jeg til og med ville valgt til fest, nå skal jeg la den heavy smokyen ligge helt til høsten..

En stjerne som nesten alltid har denne varianten av den myke smokyen, er Hayden Panettiere, og med hennes blå øyne passer det perfekt!
Slik legger du en myk smoky:
1: Finn frem 3 farger. En basefarge, en mellomfarge og en skyggefarge. For denne looken ville jeg valgt en ganske lys base(men styr for all del unna hvitt!), en gullbasert eller bronsefarget mellomfarge( gjerne med skimmer, da er skyggefargen lettere å jobbe ut), og en sjokoladebrun skyggefarge.
2:Legg basefarge på hele lokket.
3:Legg mellomfarge helt opp til globalen, og dus den ut i basefargen. Men pass på at basefargen får være ifred ved øyenbrynsbeinet.
4: Legg skyggefarge godt og jevnt på øyelokket, ikke lengre enn opp til globalen, du så godt ut slik at alle skiller blir som "visket" ut. Så tar du en kost med en god kant og legger litt av skyggefargen under øyet.
5: Legg gjerne sort eller mørkebrun liner, både langs øvre og nedre vippekant og på våtlinjen. Du kan også legge 2/3 mørk liner, og 1/3 lys liner på våtlinjen for å åpne øyet.
6: Og avslutt det hele med mascara :)

-Husk å bruke primer før du legger en smoky, ingenting er styggere enn en smoky som legger seg i linjer. Primer gjør det også leggere å legge øyenskyggene.

Til denne looken ville jeg ha hatt en løs ballerinadult midt på hodet, matt hud, og lyse naturlige lepper.

Vintage hunt

Yesterday my boyfriend and I went out very early( like 12.30, yeah I know, it`s just early for us) I wanted to go to Fretex (goodwill organisation) to see if I could find something I wanted. And I did. I bought a slouchy leather jacket, a fur hat and a leather fringe bag. I`ll post pictures later. And I ate the best sandwich ever! With mozzarella, Parma ham, pesto and lots of salad! Yummy!
