Time flies faster than the birds.

It`s been so long since I last wrote something on my blog. But I really want to start again.
Iv`e been thinking about starting to blog more about life in general, the things in life that I love (not the people in my life though). Fashion, my dog, makeup, interior and good food.

It feels like yesterday that I got my little French Bulldog puppy. But one year has passed, and he`s not so little anymore.
Iv`e never had a dog before, and I didn`t know how much work it was. It`s just like having a little baby.

The designer with the sickest style, and the most impressive shoes is gone. The fashion industy has lost a big star, and the runway will never be the same.

Sleep now McQueen. The fashionistas will miss you.

Primer Test

Well Happy New Year everyone! :)

I have tested some primers since the (crappy) e.l.f one, and here`s the review.

First and foremost: How to test a primer in the store! Most of us have two hands, and each hand is diffirent from the other. One of your hand will most likely have deeper lines than the other. This is how you test the product : Take a small amount of the primer on your finger (don`t dip you finger in the jar though) and dab it on to the hand with the deepest lines, after a very small amount of time you should be able to see a big diffirence in the hand. Now compare both hands and see that the deep lines are much more alike the other hand :)

Lisse Minute Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch Makeup Base by Clarins (phew, that`s a long name!) : It went on smoothly, leaving my skin feeling very soft and even. It keeps the skin matte, and it helped to keep those dry patches away. For removing fine lines it`s also pretty good. This gets 7/10.




Now my favorite of all times! The Urban Decay Complexion Primer Potion - Pore Perfecting. This is just amazing! You need very little to cover your face. The complexion feels silky smooth afterwards, and it evens out the skintone a lot better than the Clarins one. Well as you can see it`s a pore perfector, and I don`t suffer from large pores, but my boyfriend does. I forced him to test it, and his pores ot visiby smaller. As for the price $30 for 30 ml. This gets 10/10 from me :)

E.L.F Eyes lips face review

Well as I told you before I ordered 48 products from e.l.f, and now I have tested a lot of them.

First and foremost, the three brushes I bought were totally crap. The first thing I did was to wash them, they smelled really bad. When I washed them the water turned red.

Total Face Brush looses a lot of hair all the time, and the "hair" poke my skin, it does not feel nice at all. This gets a 1/10.

The Bronzing Brush is okay, but cannot be compared to the wonderful contour brush from M.A.C. Again, the smell is really bad. This brush will get a 3/10

The Defining Eye Brush is the best out of the three I have tested. It wasn`t red, and didn`t smell all that bad. For my taste the bristles are to long to be a defining brush, but to blend the outer V of the eye it`s good. This one get`s a 4 /10

I have also tested the e.l.f mineral infused face primer for about a week now. This does not work for me at all. I have dry skin, and this makes my face look amazing straight away, but after a couple of hours dry patches start to appear on my skin (primer is made to prep the skin and to make the makeup stay on flawlessly on your skin longer) It contains Silicone, Phenoxyethanol wich is restricted in Japan because of it`s sideeffects and 3 other Parabens. For people with sensitive skin/ problem skin, stay away from this product! Very funny to put in the word Mineral to make it sound better. This product gets 3/10

Other than that I must say that the Duo Eyeshadows get a 7/10. They are not to powdery so they are easy to apply. Always test the product on your hand before applying it on your eyelid, just to check the pigmentation. Some of the colors have a lot of pigments and other look totally different on your eye than in the package. If you prime your eye and apply a good baseshadow the e.l.f eyeshadows will last for a really long time.

My best advise is to buy the crazy colors that you almost never use on e.l.f but always invest in a good base color and the colors you use every day. Most of the e.l.f products contains a lot of mineral Oil wich clog your pores and can lead to acne.

Nora testing beauty products

It`s almost christmas and I have been doing a lot of my christmas shopping online.

I went totaly nuts on e.l.f`s webpage and ordered 48 diffirent products, yikes! And I haven`t tried anything yet, hehe! When I get the package I will test each product and post it in my blog.

I have also ordered hairproducts from Burt`s bees, and will test them as well.

Yesterday I bought this giftbox from Declèor - Secret D`Hydratation.


I have sworn to REN products, but wanted a change, and I have only heard positive things about Decleor. I have always struggeled with dry patches in my face. When I removed my makeup, I applied 3 drops of aromessence Neroli serum (and let it dry for about 5 minutes) then applied the Hydra floral anti-pollution cream. Woke up this morning and my skin felt amazing!
So if you suffer from dry skin I totally recomend this kit!

I give this a 10/10

Iv`e looked everywhere for the perfect new year`s dress.... But I don`t get that wow factor anywhere, well of course I do, but they are way to expensive.

The only one that I fancy at this moment is by Topshop. And the best about that, there`s not a single left in my size. PERFECT or what?

Frenchie Spock!

This is the reason to my lack of blogging lately
My little French Bulldog puppy is 10 weeks old, and is seriously just like a human baby, but way more intense. Through the day I get so tired, but in the evening when I go to bed with my little frenchie sleeping thight my life could not be more perfect!

And yes, his name is from Star Trek`s Captain Spock! May he live long and prosper.
